- Page 3 Gently pull the stock speaker out of each grille assembly. 3. Although the XM50F speakers will work behind the factory grille cloth, the metal mesh grilles in this kit are designed to replace the front speaker grille cloth on 1998-2013 HD Street Glides, Ultras, Classics, and Standards.
- Page 4 Section 2 - XM50R Rear Speaker Installation Instructions 1. With your ignition switch in the “OFF” position, remove the factory speaker grilles by undoing the 4 screws on the front of the grilles. Carefully lift up each speaker and take the 2 wires off by pulling one at a time from the stock speaker.
