  • Page 3 Federvorspannung der Gabel ändern Sie können die Federvorspannung mit der Einstellschraube 1 ± 5 mm ändern. Drehen im Uhrzeigersinn erhöht die Vorspannung, drehen gegen den Uhr- zeigersinn verringert sie. Eine Veränderung der Federvorsapnnung hat keinen Einfluss auf die Dämp- fungseinstellung der Zugstufe. Grundsätzlich sollte jedoch bei mehr Federvorspannung auch mehr Zugstu- fendämpfung eingestellt werden.

  • Page 6 WARTUNGSARBEITEN AN FAHRGESTELL UND MOTOR Steuerkopflagerung prüfen und nachstellen * Die Steuerkopflagerung sollte regelmäßig auf Spiel geprüft werden. Zum Prüfen stützt man das Motorrad am Rahmen so ab, daß das Vorderrad angehoben ist. Nun versucht man die Gabel nach vorne und hinten zu bewegen, dabei darf kein Spiel spürbar sein.
  • Page 7 Lenkerposition ändern Die Lenkerposition kann um 37 mm verstellt werden. Sie haben dadurch die Möglichkeit den Lenker in die für Sie angenehmste Position zu bringen. An der oberen Gabelbrücke befinden sich 3 Bohrungen mit einem Abstand von 15 mm. Die Bohrungen an der Lenkeraufnahme sind 3,5 mm aus der Mitte plaziert.

    OPERATION INSTRUMENTS Clutch lever The clutch lever is located on the left side of the handlebar. The adjusting screw is used to change the original position of the clutch lever (see maintenance work on chassis and engine). Hand decompression lever The hand decompression lever is needed only if a fall on your motorcycle causes overflowing in the carburetor.

    Adjusting the spring preload on the fork You can change the spring preload by ± 5 mm with the adjusting screw Turning in a clockwise direction will increase the prestress, turning in a counterclockwise direction will decrease the prestress.
