    ELECTRIC SHOCK can kill. 3.a. The electrode and work (or ground) circuits are electrically “hot” when the welder is on. Do not touch these “hot” parts with your bare skin or wet clothing. Wear dry, hole-free gloves to insulate hands.
  • Page 4 WELDING and CUTTING SPARKS can cause fire or explosion. 6.a. Remove fire hazards from the welding area. If this is not possible, cover them to prevent the welding sparks from starting a fire. Remember that welding materials from welding can easily go through small cracks and openings to adjacent areas.

    MACHINE GROUNDING AND HIGH FRE- QUENCY INTERFERENCE PROTECTION Locate the Precision TIG 225 away from radio controlled machinery. The normal operation of the Precision TIG 225 may adversely affect the operation of RF controlled equipment, which may result in bodily injury or damage to the equipment.

    Output control will not provide full range of control. WELDING CAPABILITY(Duty Cycle) The PRECISION TIG 225 is rated at 225 amps, 29 volts, at 10% duty cycle on a ten minute basis. It is capable of higher duty cycles at lower output currents. See rated output graph, on specification sheet located in the Installation Section.
