1. Connect the micro USB plug to the micro USB charging port on the back of the unit. Charge via computer USB port, USB AC adaptor or other powered USB port iHome iBN17 USB port Computer connected to working outlet... -
Page 8: Using Bluetooth: Pairing And Playing Your Device Using Nfc
If prompted, accept Bluetooth pairing. “iHome iBN17” should appear on your device’s menu. Once paired with a device, the blue indicator light will glow steadily, your music will play through the unit. -

NOTE: If the unit is charging while pairing is attempted, the light will continue to glow red (it will not blink blue and red). “iHome iBN17” should appear on your device’s menu. If “Not Connected” or similar appears on your display, tap on the “iBN17” to begin pairing. If your device asks for a password, enter 1234 on the keyboard of your device. -

Pairing with a Different Device When you power ON the speaker, it will automatically link with the previously paired Bluetooth device as long as that device is still within range (approx. 30 feet). So, to pair with a different device you must turn off the Bluetooth capability of the already paired device. -

Using the Playing Audio via Aux In 1. Move the Power Off/Bluetooth/Aux Switch to the Aux position (right) to listen to audio via aux in. The Power/Charging/Pairing Indicator Light on the back of the unit will glow blue. 2. Connect the micro USB plug to the micro USB charging port on the back of the unit and connect the 3.5 mm audio plug to the headphone or line-out jack on your audio device. -

Bluetooth capability on the already paired device, or take it out of range. • If your device does not auto-link when within range, re-pair the device. To do so, first delete the iBN17 from your Bluetooth devices menu. Move the Power Off/Bluetooth/Aux Switch on the unit to the Bluetooth position (center) to begin pairing (see page 4 for pairing details). -
