  • Page 4 Power Requirements Activate the two CR2032 BATTERY COMPARTMENT back-up batteries by removing (Bottom of unit) the paper tab from the battery BACK-UP BATTERIES compartment. Replacement of (Inside battery compartment) these batteries is required every 9K/10K SWITCH 2-3 years. (See radio section of manual.) Install 6 AA alkaline batteries.
  • Page 5 Additional Information RESET If this product does not operate properly, insert the tip of an unbent paperclip (or similar) into the opening to reset the display and memory. BATTERY SAFETY Batteries may leak or explode if recharged, inserted improperly, inserted in the wrong direction, disposed of in fi re, or mixed with different battery types.

  • Page 13 CD Player - Basic Operation Because of the high power requirements of the CD player, use of the AC adapter is strongly recommended for extended or frequent CD playing. This player features electronic shock protection (ESP), which reduces skipping caused by sudden movement. The ESP is automatically activated when a CD is being played.

  • Page 17 Antenna and Reception The TV audio band (US version) requires a strong broadcast signal and will not operate properly in areas located away from a broadcast or relay station. FM radio reception can be optimized by adjusting the length and position of the built-it external FM antenna.
  • Page 18 AM/FM/TV Audio and Preset Stations There are 6 presets available for each audio band. MEM/DEMO Press to activate. PROGRAMMING: (Radio must be on.) Tune to station. Press MEM/DEMO Press any button 1-6. Repeat using a new station and preset number. RECALLING: Press the desired number 1-6 to recall previously set stations.
