Setting the confidential boxes

The public / personal box which the box extension function attached is used
as a confidential box.
The confidential communication which used the F-code can be used in this
machine.
In order to perform the confidential reception, it is necessary to set up a user
box no., name, password, index, and type.
- When the [Confidential RX] is set as [ON] in the [Function Setting] of the
utility mode, confidential communication can be used. For details, see
page 11-40.
- You can confirm the password of the confidential boxes by the list. For
the method of a confirmation, see page 11-53.
- For the operations of the confidential communication, see page 7-30.

For the registration method of the boxes, see "User's guide – Box oper-
ations".
Provide a password for the confidential user box as required. Confiden-
tial communication can be used even when no password is provided.

- The information defined should be given to the station (fax) that will trans-
mit information by the confidential communication.
Name
The name can be up to 20 characters.
Password
It is a box password at the time of confidential reception.
Enter the 0-9, * or # up to 8 digits.
