RANGE OF USE The PARKSIDE soldering pencil PFLK 15, with its nominal 15 watt power rating, is ideal for soldering electronic components and circuit boards. The nominal soldering tip temperature is about 320° C. For best results use electronics solder 1.0 (10 g included with the soldering pencil) or 1.5 mm dia. - Page 6 11. Wear eye protection, protective mask and ear defenders. For work which produces splinters, swarf or dust or when working overhead always wear eye protection, with an appropriate protective mask. When working in noisy conditions, wear ear defenders. 12. Connect the dust suction device. If devices for the connection of dust suction equipment and collectors are available, ensure that these are connected and properly used.

24. Take care when working from ladders and scaffolds. Special care must to be taken when working from ladders or scaffolds. Make sure they are correctly assembled and secured against slipping. 25.
