    VENTING INSTAllATION CDV Series Gas Fireplace ReAR (THRoUGH THe WAll) APPlICATIoNS When installed as a rear vent unit this appliance may be vented directly to a termination located on the rear wall behind the appliance • The maximum horizontal distance between the rear of the appliance and the outside of termination is 20" (508 m).

The Vent Graph, showing the relationship between vertical and hori- zontal side wall venting, will help to determine the various dimensions allowable. All restrictions, clearances and allowances that per- tain to the rigid piping apply to the flexible venting. Flex UL1777 Flex Vent kits may not be modified. Flex kits may be added to the end of a vent run made of rigid vent sections using pipe manufacturer's approved flex to pipe adapters.
