Watching Another If your recorder is connected to the TV via the AV connection, press TV/VCR. The recorder’s VCR indicator and the TV broadcast being recorded disappear. Once recording is in progress, all you need to do is to set the channel controls on the TV for the station you wish to view.

Elapsed Recording Time Indication Set the counter display. Press – –:– – until a counter reading appears on the front display panel. Reset the counter. Press 0000 before starting recording or playback. The counter is reset to “0:00:00” and shows the exact elapsed time as the tape runs.

Automatic Satellite Programme Recording This function allows you to automatically record a satellite programme which is timer-programmed on your external satellite receiver.
