Typing in the zoom ratio

By using the keypad, a zoom ratio between e0.250 and e4.000 can be typed
in directly without changing the height-to-width ratio.

In the Basics screen, touch [Zoom].
The Zoom screen appears.

Touch [XY Zoom].
The XY Zoom screen appears.

Using the keypad, type in the desired
zoom ratio.
– If a value outside the allowable
range is specified, the message
"Input Error" appears. Type a
value within the allowable range.
– If the value was incorrectly
entered, press the [C] (clear) key
in the keypad to erase the value,
and then specify the correct value.

Touch [Enter].
The Zoom screen appears again.

The enter zoom ratio can be stored. For details on storing zoom ratios,
refer to "Storing the desired zoom ratio" on page 4-38.
