Charge neutralization and separation of paper

A. Charge Neutralizing Plate
• To neutralize any charge potential left in the paper which has undergone the image trans-
fer stage, there is the Charge Neutralizing Plate fitted to the guide plate after the Transfer
Roller.
• The output of the Charge Neutralizing Plate is automatically selected according to the
type of paper used or whether the current print cycle is for the first side or second side.
B. Drum Separation Claw
• The Drum Separation Claws mounted in the IU properly separate paper from the surface
of the Photo Conductor.
