SETTING UP 1 - Connecting the telephone Connect the handset cord. Open the battery door by turning around the locking tab. Insert 4 alkaline batteries (type AA 1.5V, not supplied) in the compartment (*). SETTING UP 3 – Ringer Tone / Time Break Recall setting (300/100) The phone is equipped with “Mechanical Bell” ringers which can be selected between UK (tring..tring) & European (triiiiiiiiiiiing) style bells, via the switch located in the battery compartment. The mechanical bell sound is functional only when the batteries are inserted and are not run down. -

VOLUME AND TONE ADJUSTMENT 1 - Receiving volume and tone adjustment You can increase the volume and adjust the receiving tone according to your own hearing requirements. The button (AMPLIFY ON/OFF switch) allows extra receiving and tone functions to be activated or not during the conversation. When the function is activated, the red light of extra receiving and tone function located near the REDIAL/RECALL buttons is lit. -

EINSTELLUNG 3 – Klingelton / Time Break Recall Einstellung (300/100) Das Telefon ist ausgestattet mit einem “Mechanischen Glocken” Klingelton, welches zwischen Großbritanien (tring..tring) & Europäischen (triiiiiiiiiiiing) Glockenton ausgewählt werden kann, mit dem Schalter welches sich im Batteriefach befindet.
