Button sewing

Machine settings
q Pattern:
w Presser foot:
e Thread tension:
* Lower the feed dog (see page 14)
Attaching the button sewing foot T
Insert the rear pin on the foot into the groove of the foot
holder.
Gently lower the presser foot lifter while holding the foot
with your fingers.
q Rear pin
w Groove of the foot holder.
To sew
z Place a button on the fabric and lower the needle by
turning the handwheel with your hand, so that the
needle enters through the left hole in the button.
x Align the direction of button and lower the button sewing
foot T to hold the button in place.
c Press the up/down needle button to bring the needle up
to the highest position. Adjust the stitch width, so that the
zigzag width matches the span of holes in the button.
v Press the start/stop button to sew and the machine will
stop automatically.
b Cut the needle thread at the beginning.
q Needle thread at the beginning
n Pull the bobbin thread to pull the needle thread to the
wrong side off the fabric.
w Needle thread
e Bobbin thread
m Tie both threads together.
* Raise the feed dog after sewing.
