Please read this instruction manual and all other infor mation accompanying the washing machine before operating the appliance. Please retain all documents for future reference or for a subsequent appliance owner. Safety Instructions General Your washing machine is intended: - For domestic use only. - For washing machine washable fabrics in washing lye. -

Control panel Start button Programme selector For starting the wash cycle For switching the machine on and off and (programme must have been selected). for selecting the programme. Can be rotated in either direction. The programme selector does not rotate while the programme is running the programme sequence is electronically controlled. -

Before using your washing machine for the first time Attention The washing machine must have been installed and connected properly refer to Page 30. i The washing machine was tested before leaving the factory. To remove any water left over from te sting procedures, the first washing cycle should be carried out without laundry in the machine. -

Preparing, sorting and loading the washing Attention Preparing the Loose debris (e.g. coins, paper clips, needles, nails) washing can damage items of clothing as well as parts of the washing machine (e.g. drum). q Empty all pockets on items of clothing. q Brush sand out of pockets and cuffs/turn ups. -

Loading Items of clothing that have been pretreated with the washing solvent based cleaning agents, e.g. stain remover and dry cleaning spirit, represent an explosion hazard once loaded into the washing machine. Before loading the laundry, rinse thoroughly by hand. Attention Foreign objects in the drum may damage the laundry. -

Recommended application: in areas with very soft water. Wash Plus The washing time is extended so that highly soiled washing or 6 kg of Cottons + Linens are washed more intensively.

Wash Example of Easy Care 40 ºC programme: q Turn the programme selector to the desired pro gramme (see also the programme overview). The Ready indicator light comes on. q If required, select spin speed or Rinse Hold. q If required, press the button(s) for additional op tion(s). -

If you have accidentally selected the wrong program Changing the programme q Turn the programme selector to the desired pro gramme. If prewash is selected subsequently, set the pro gramme selector to Off and reselect the program q If required, change other settings. q Press the Start button. -

After washing The End indicator light comes on. q Turn the programme selector to Off Setting Rinse Hold i The programme has ended and the (without final spin) selected Spin indicator light is lit. q Select an additional programme (Drain or Spin). q Press the Start button. -

The acoustic signal indicates: Signal - that the additional functions (buttons) have been switched on or off, - individual programme statuses (e.g. start of programme, end of programme), operating errors and faults. Signal for switching q Press the Start button and set the programme buttons on and off selector to Cottons + Linens 30 °C. -

Special applications Attention Do not bleach/dye washing in the washing machine. q Load laundry of the same colour. Soaking q Pour soaking agent into dispenser II according to the manufacturer's instructions. q Set the programme selector to Cottons+Linens 30 ºC. q Press the Start button. -

Cleaning and Care d Risk of electric shock! First, always disconnect the appliance from the power supply. Never clean the washing machine with a water jet. d Risk of explosion! Never clean the appliance with solvents. As required: Clean housing, q Use hot soapy water or a mild, non abrasive fascia and supply cleaning agent. -
