    IMPORTANT: To protect your smoker from excessive rust, the unit must be cured periodically and covered at all times when not in use. A smoker cover may be ordered directly from Brinkmann by calling 1-800-468-5252. Smoking CAUTION: Before each use, check handles and support brackets to make sure they are securely fastened.

If using a Charcoal Chimney Starter, follow all manufacturer’s warnings and instructions regarding the use of their product. Carefully place 8-10 pounds of hot coals in the charcoal pan.
