  • Page 18 ENGLISH 4.10 Installing inside an open fireplace The Jøtul I 520 is designed to be placed inside a pre-existing, code-compliant masonry fireplace. The fireplace must satisfy the requirements regarding installation against combustible materials. It is important that the convection air openings are sufficiently large (500 / 750 cm 2 ) to utilize the heat emission from the product.

De haard moet voldoen aan de veiligheidseisen voor het ombouwelement voor wat betreft installatie en brandbare materialen en luchtopeningen. Er zijn verschillende opties voor installatie in (open) haarden.

(Dieser wird mit einem eigenen Handbuch ausgeliefert – Außenluftanschluss Ø 100, Art.nr. 10026187). Der Kanalanschluss Abb. 2-a ist passend für Frischlufteinlassrohre mit Ø 100 und 80. Dieser Vorgang wird ausgeführt, bevor die Ummantelung gemauert oder errichtet wird.
