    The Basics Installing the Battery and microSD Card NOTE It is important to fully charge the battery before initial use of the phone. Installing the battery The phone comes with a rechargeable battery. Keep the battery charged while not in use in order to maximize talk, use, and standby time. The battery charge level is shown at the top right corner of the screen.

Locate the microSD card slot at the left edge of the phone (microSD is inscribed near the slot opening).     The Basics Getting to Know the Home Screen The Home screen is your starting point to access all the features on your phone. It displays application shortcuts, icons, widgets, and other features. Status Bar Shows device status information, including the time, signal strength, battery status, and notification icons.

Touchscreen Your touchscreen provides an excellent way to interact with and use your Android phone.     Communication Visual Voice Mail Visual Voice Mail allows the management of voicemail directly from the device rather than accessing voicemail via traditional methods. Visual Voice Mail displays a list of messages and allows the user to choose which message to listen to or delete, without having to dial into their mailbox and listen to voice instructions, or prior messages.
