    INSTALLING A BATTERY Your pager requires one AAA battery. For the best performance and longest life, we recommend an alka- line battery, such as Radio Shack Cat. No. 23-555. Caution: Always use a fresh battery of the required size and recommended type.

Note: If you do not press a button within 8 seconds while setting the date or any of the pager’s other fea- tures, the pager stores any changes made to that point and returns to the time/date display.
