    1. Introduction Product Overview DIGISOL DG-PS1010U is an USB2.0 print server designed for easy and convenient printing through USB printer which can be shared in your Ethernet/Fast Ethernet network. DG-PS1010U supports Multiprotocol features like TCP/IP, NetBEUI and AppleTalk transport protocols that can communicate with the PC’s connected in the network.

    Computer 2. Software Installation The DIGISOL Print Server utility is a user friendly Windows-based management program that assists you in configuring and managing your print server in LAN. The program can be installed from the setup CD provided with your print server.

Click on Setup Wizard to install and configure the print server. Click Next (Fig 2), the wizard will automatically discover the print server in LAN.

TCP/IP LPR Port Printing Installation Basic TCP/IP Installation Overview When installing your print server in a TCP/IP environment, IP addresses are essential as a basic means of communications. It is therefore necessary to first assign an IP address to your print server unit.

Then the self-test page including the factory default settings will be printed. Note: 1. It is strongly recommended to use Laser Printer for self-test page printing.
