Problem

printer's printable area is not
selected.
"Top Left" is selected beside
"Position".
The setting to reduce the im-
age to fit within the paper is
not selected.
Different paper is selected.
The "Minimal" check box is
selected.
"Center" is selected beside
"Position".
A pattern may appear with
some printers.
The image data is large.
Cause
The communication mode for
gateway transmissions is in-
correctly specified.
The device is not operating
correctly.
Troubleshooting
Remedy
Check the setting specified in the "Pa-
per Select Method" box.
Check the settings specified in the
"Paper Settings" group box.
Specify a setting beside "Scan Area",
and then try automatically printing
again.
Select the "Automatically Rotates Im-
age when Image Orientation is different
from Paper Orientation." check box in
the Print Property dialog box.
If there is a slight loss on the edges, se-
lect the "Minimal" check box in the
Print Property dialog box.
If there is a slight loss at the top and the
left edges, select "Center" beside "Po-
sition" in the Print Property dialog box.
Select the "Adjust Image to Fit to Paper
Size" check box in the Print Property
dialog box.
Select "Print on Paper Same as Image
Size" beside "Paper Select Method" in
the Print Property dialog box.
Clear the "Minimal" check box in the
Print Property dialog box.
Select "Top Left" beside "Position" in
the Print Property dialog box.
Change the resolution, and then try au-
tomatically printing again.
Reduce the resolution, and then try au-
tomatically printing again.
Remedy
Check the settings for gateway trans-
missions.
