Message playback
When messages are playing on the handset:
• PHONE/FLASH to stop playback. The screen shows Call back?, then
Press
press MENU/SELECT,
caller if the caller's number is available. If the dialing format used is not
correct, then use the option below to choose the correct dialing format
before calling back the caller.
• Press MENU/SELECT to pause playback and show the caller ID information
if available. From here, you can press
press # (pound key) to show different dialing options (page 41), or press
PHONE/FLASH or
back within 10 seconds, message playback resumes automatically.
• Press q /VOLUME or p

• Press EQ

Press 6 to skip to the next message.
• Press 4 to repeat the message. Press twice to hear the previous message.

Press /DELETE to delete the message.
MUTE

Press 5 to stop the playback.
• Press /SPEA�ER SPEA�ER to switch between speakerphone mode and handset mode.
NOTE: The equalizer stays on the same settings until you change it by pressing EQ .

Delete all old messages

You can only delete old (reviewed) messages. You cannot delete new messages
until you review them. You cannot retrieve deleted messages.
To delete all old messages on the telephone base:
1. When the telephone is idle, press X/DELETE. The system
announces, "To delete all old messages, press
DELETE again."
2. Press X/DELETE again. The system announces, "All old
messages deleted."
To delete all old messages on the handset:
1. Press MENU/
main menu.
2. Press q or p

/SELECT. The screen shows Delete all old messages?

4. Press /SELECT again to confirm. The screen displays Deleting... then

All old msgs deleted! There is a confirmation tone.
