The Actiontec 54 Mbps Wireless PC Card allows you to share
Internet access, large data files, video files, MP3 files, printers
and more. It is compatible with any laptop computer containing
a Type II 32-bit Cardbus port. The PC Card is backward
compatible with any Wi-Fi (802.11b) device.

The Actiontec 54 Mbps Wireless PC Card uses state-of-the-art

with its 11 Mbps Wireless products. When the 54 Mbps Wireless
PC Card detects that it is talking to an 11 Mbps wireless product,
the 54 Mbps Wireless PC Card will drop its speed to 11 Mbps.
As a result, you can run both types of products in the same
wireless network, keep your older 11 Mbps products until you
can upgrade to the 54 Mbps product.
