Connect handle Remove tank from shampoo-polisher and remove nut, bolt and cord clip from top of lower handle section. 2. How to use Polarized plug To reduce the risk of electric shock, this appliance has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other). This plug will fit in a polarized outlet only one way. -

3. Remove tank. Fill with HOOVER Bare Floor Cleaner as directed on detergent container. Replace tank. Concentrated ammonia solution must be used to remove some wax. -

This lengthens the time between waxings. Before buffing, use a vacuum cleaner to remove dust and dirt and damp cloth to remove sticky parti- cles. Stubborn spots, such as black heel marks, can be removed by rubbing gently with very fine steel wool damp- ened with wax. -

Shampooing car- pet and rugs For best results, use HOOVER Rug and Carpet Shampoo. A carpet sham- poo designed specifically for rotary and foam type carpet shampooers can also be used. Use shampoo only in concentration as recommended on container. - Page 8 After the compound has dried, vacuum area thoroughly using a HOOVER vacu- um cleaner for best results. Install a new disposable bag in vacuum cleaner to insure complete removal of cleaning compound and dirt.
