    INSTALLATIONS Installing the CPU The MB970 board supports an LGA1155 Socket (shown below) for Intel Sandy Bridge processors. To install the CPU, unlock first the socket by pressing the lever sideways, then lift it up to a 90-degree. Then, position the CPU above the socket such that the CPU corner aligns with the gold triangle matching the socket corner with a small triangle.
