    The engine does not start once activated, it starts when the vehicle interior temperature drops below 0°F.     Programming options control your system’s normal, operational set-up. Most options do not require additional parts, but some may require installation labor. See your authorized Directed dealer for more details. The following is a list of the programmable options, with the factory settings in Bold.

If the vehicle starts when performing the Neutral Safety Shutdown Circuit test, the remote start unit has not been properly installed.
