    Getting started Telephone base and charger installation Install the telephone base and charger as shown below. Make sure that the electrcal outlet s not controlled by a wall swtch. If you subscrbe to dgtal subscrber lne (DSL) hgh-speed Internet servce through your telephone lne, you must nstall a DSL filter between the telephone line cord and telephone wall jack.

    Getting started Wall mounting Your telephone comes ready for tabletop use. If you prefer to mount your telephone on the wall (optonal), t s desgned to mount on a standard telephone wall plate. To mount your telephone on the wall: Poston the top hole at the back of the telephone base aganst the top mountng stud on the wall plate.

    Getting started Are you a new cable or VoIP subscriber? If your answer is yes, the exstng telephone jacks n your home may no longer work. Your cable/VoIP servce provder uses a dfferent connecton, separate from your old tradtonal telephone servce, to connect the modem/router/termnal adapter nstalled n your home.
