4.9.7 PURITY AND CONVERGENCE PURITY ADJUSTMENT NOTE: The final adjustment of CONVERGENCE must be done after WEDGE DEFLECTION the FOCUS adjustment. (CONVERGENCE is changed by YOKE FOCUS adjustment.) (2) Using 4-pole convergence magnets, overlap the red and blue lines in the centre of the screen (Fig.1) and turn them (FRONT VIEW) to magenta (red/blue).
