  • Page 3 When unpacking your Digital Thermometer, check to make sure the following parts are included. If any parts are missing or broken, please call HARBOR FREIGHT TOOLS at 1-800-444-3353. Your Digital Thermometer requires only minor assembly. It is important that you read the entire manual to become familiar with the product BEFORE you assemble and use the Digital Thermometer.
  • Page 4 Setting to the Desired Type of Measurement The Thermometer readings can be set to be displayed in Celsius, Fahrenheit or Kelvin. Turn on the Thermometer by pressing the “ON/OFF” Switch located at the top of the Thermometer-see Figure 1. The Thermometer will display a temperature along with a letter showing the present degree setting.
  • Page 5 The “HOLD” key is located on the right side of the Thermometer face and is one of the four buttons surrounding the “TYPE” button. Pressing the “HOLD” key will cause the Thermometer to display the present readings. It will display only the present reading and will stop all future measurements-see Figure 1.
  • Page 6 Set the end of the Thermocoupler at the place where you desire to measure temperature. Turn the Thermometer “ON.” The Thermometer has a stand which can be pulled out from the back and used to rest the Thermometer for easy reading of display.
