Do not run the Lathe without its cov-
ers and guards in place.

Use a brush or compressed air to
remove metal shavings; never your
hands. The metal shavings will be
sharp.

The tool must always be tight within
the tool post or chuck and adjusted
to limit projection from the post. This
will reduce the possibility of the tool
breaking or bending.

to begin work before turning on the
tool.

is running.
