    BASIC OPERATION TURNING ON / OFF LCD TV Complete the peripheral connections before turning on LCD TV. (Please refer to "CONNECTING LCD TV".) Connect LCD TV's AC Power Cord into an AC outlet. Press POWER ON/OFF button on Side Control of LCD TV or on Remote Control to turn it ON. The POWER indicator will light up (blue).

    BASIC OPERATION CHANNEL AND PROGRAMME SELECTION Please note: your new LCD TV is capable of receiving both radio and TV broadcasts. And for TV reception, your new LCD TV is capable of receiving both traditional analogue channels and digital channel. When watching digital TV programme and you want to listen to radio programme, simply press TV/Radio button to switch.

    TELETEXT TELETEXT Your system receives Teletext signals broadcast by a TV network, and decodes them into graphical format for viewing.     TV SETTING Auto Channel Search is performed automatically when TV is first powered on or after resetting. Note: Be sure to select the proper input source (ATV/DTV) before tuning operation. AUTO TUNING You should perform an auto channel search to search for all channels available and store them in memory. Press MENU button and the main menu screen will be displayed.

Press OK button to begin the manual DTV channel search. When search is finished, the total of programmes will be shown as Picture 3.

    TV SETTING SETTING COLOUR SYSTEM Normally it is unnecessary to set colour system. However, if abnormal colour occurs, you may try to adjust the colour system. Navigate to ATV Manual Tuning submenu, press ▲ or ▼ button to highlight System-C item. Press ◄ or ► button to select AUTO, PAL or SECAM until the proper colour effect is reached.

    TV SETTING SETTING FAVOURITE CHANNEL Navigate to Programme Edit submenu, press ▲ or ▼ button to select your favourite programme. Press FAV-LIST button to set favourite programme, the Channel will be marked, shown as Picture 1. Press BACK button to return to previous menu. Press MENU button or no operation for a few seconds (the Picture 1 duration can be set) to exit the menu screen directly.
