PREPARATION
Before using your new Husqvarna Hover
Trimmer, make a careful note of the details on
the serial number label, which can be found on
the rear of the deck.
Always quote these details to your dealer
when enquiring about spares and service.
ASSEMBLY OF LOWER
HANDLE TO DECK
With the trimmer on the ground:
1. Remove the pins (1) and retaining clips
(2) from the polythene bag.
2. Place the lower handle (3) into the
deck bracket (4).
3. Insert the pin (1) through deck bracket
(4) and lower handle (3).
4. Secure by inserting the retaining clip
(2) into the holes in the pin at the
angle shown.

Assemble upper handle (5) to lower
handle (6) by fitting bolts (7) and washers
(8) and securing with wing knobs (9).

The handle position can be altered by
moving it forward for the park position or
back for the trimming position.

TRANSPORTING THE TRIM-

NOTE:
Before transporting the machine from
one trimming area to another, close fuel
tap and let engine continue to run until it
stops (in order to empty the carburettor
bowl) then disconnect the spark plug
lead. Transport in a horizontal position.
NEVER TRANSPORT THE TRIM-
MER WHEN IT IS RUNNING.
