Connecting the four pins, like this 5.2 Bridge connection: 1x40Watt@8Ω The AMP-MA40 has the bridge connection, to double the output power at 1x40Watt@8Ω. It will sum up the input left channel and input right channel to be mono output, and the power is up to 40Watts. -

AMP-IRMA40 Remote Control with Sensor for the Digital Amplifier AMP-MA40 The AMP-MA40 has an optional IR control function. It needs to work with the “AMP-MA40” package, including the IR receiver and IR remote (Model AMP-IRMA40RC). The model name for the IR Remote Control with the sensor is AMP-IRMA40 while AMP-MA40IR is the model name for the digital amplifier (AMP-MA40) plus the remote control and sensor (AMP-IRMA40). - Page 13 The IR receiver/sensor AMP-IRMA40S is used to receive the IR code from the remote controller AMP-IRMA40RC. It connects to the AMP-MA40 by 3pins capture screw connector, and receives the IR code by the IR sensor. The IR sensor can be sticked on the wall or ceiling.
