Patented My Stride™ technology - allows the user to dynamically change the length
of their stride automatically, to a full stride of 30". The faster you stride, the longer
your stride becomes – just like in real life. No electronics needed to change stride
length. The result is the most comfortable, adaptable stride motion of any elliptical
trainer.
Electronically controlled (alternator); 20 resistance levels ranging from 20 watts (level
1 at 20 RPM) to 650 watts (level 20 at 100 RPM).
Cordless. Battery recharger included with unit.
For increased user comfort, the foot pedals have integrated, non-slip cushioned pads.
Large radius welded, thick-walled steel tube.
Unique upper-body handle design with integrated contact HR and an elliptical control
keypods". The "keypod" on the left handlebar has QUICK START and Display
LOCK/UNLOCK keys. The right handlebar has Level UP and DOWN keys to easily
adjust the resistance without removing your hands from the handle bars.
Special, maintenance-free synthetic bushings are used in the upper and lower swing
arm pivots, and in the articulating foot plate assembly. These bushings have several
advantages including:
They have an extremely low coefficient of friction and dampen vibration so they
are very smooth running.
They are maintenance-free, requiring no lubrication.
They are very high wear resistant for improved longevity.
They have very good chemical resistance and low moisture absorption which
means they help prevent rust build-up and are resistant to sweat and cleaning
solutions.
Integrated contact heart rate and telemetry standard. New, improved contact heart
rate with digital signal processing will rival any competitor in terms of reliability and
consistency. Contact heart rate mounted on front hand rails and upper-body
handles.
Large console display area has integrated reading rack, convenient, universal water
bottle holder and storage area for personal items.
C51 console with custom, bright blue back lit LCD display. Very attractive, large text,
easy to read in a variety of lighting conditions.
During a workout, the C51 LCD console calculates and displays the exercise
parameters such as distance, stride rate, calories burned, power (in watts), vertical
climbed, and METs according to equations published in the American College
of Sports Medicine's, "Guidelines for Graded Exercise Testing and Exercise
Prescription". Speed and grade accuracy are factory-tested, verified, and published
in the Owner's Manual.
