The Menu System
Description
Enable/disable reception that is restricted
to only numbers registered in your fax for
One-Touch or Coded Speed Dialing to
avoid receipt of "junk" mail.
Set the format used for dates displayed on
the fax and printed on faxes you send.
Set the language for the message
displayed in the LCD during operation of
the fax.
Set the transmission speed used to send
faxes.
Set the speed used to receive faxes.

Comments
OFF: Anyone can dial your fax and
send a document.
ON: A party can dial your fax and send
a document only if their number is
registered on your fax speed dialing.
YV: Year
MM: Month
DD: Day
Choice of three languages.
The higher the setting, the faster the
transmission. If you experience
problems when sending faxes, try a
lower setting.
The higher the setting, the faster the
fax is received.
If transmission errors occur frequently,
set a lower speed.
