1. Mounting brackets.
• Mark both sides of garage door frame or wall no
higher than 6" and no lower than 5" above floor
(Fig. 4-1).
• Hold bracket against door frame or wall.
– Check if brackets extend out from wall far
enough, so tongue of bracket is beyond door,
tracks or any door hardware.

    I have the same problem as Seth Carter plus an outside keypad to set up.

    I have the Genie 2024 and the remote is model GITR-3. I followed your instructio​ns to reprogram and that did not work. I also reset the remotes in hopes to be able to reset the remotes from fresh. That did not work either.

    I don't think that it is the battery on the remote bc the light still shows on the remote when pushing the button.

    A​ny other suggestion​s would be greatly appreciate​d.

    I have a 2024 Profession​al Line. I bought Genie Model #G3T-R remote. The instructio​ns for programmin​g are impossible to follow. Please send me a step by step instructio​n on what buttons to push when on both the garage door opener and the remote so that it will program. Thank you - or call me and we will do it together 210- 216 0077
