Using unleaded gasoline contributes to longer engine valve life by reducing lead and carbon deposits. Generac does not recommend using any gasoline containing alcohol (such as “gasohol”). If you use any gasoline containing alcohol, it must not contain more than 10 percent ethanol, and it must be removed from the generator during storage.
