    1. INTRODUCTION Congratulations on purchasing your Marantec ® Professional Series Garage Door Opener System, the most inno- vative opener available today. This stylishly designed digital opener with a wide range of accessories is engineered to provide the smoothest, quietest and safest operation to compliment any home. Advanced technology results in the opener being capable of easily moving almost any properly balanced resi- dential garage door, and at the same time providing state-of-the-art safety features to detect obstructions and to stop and reverse the door, thus helping to protect persons and property near the door.
