WARNING:
Before working inside your computer, read the safety information

WARNING:
If you remove the hard drive from the computer when the drive is hot,
do not touch
the metal housing of the hard drive.
CAUTION:
To avoid data loss, do not remove the hard drive while the computer is
on or in Sleep state.
CAUTION:
Hard drives are extremely fragile. Exercise care when handling the
hard drive.
Primary Hard-Drive

Prerequisites

1 Remove the computer cover. See "Removing the Computer Cover" on
page 23.

Removing the Primary Hard-Drive

1 Disconnect the power and data cables from the primary hard-drive.
2 Remove the screws that secure the hard drive to the chassis.
3 Slide the hard drive out towards the back of the computer.
