FEATURES
The 8081 TT/ 8082 TrH Support Modules are designed to work with the Model 8800 Universal Communicating Thermostat.
Up to four support modules per thermostat can be used to monitor temperature and/or humidity in various rooms or throughout
a larger area. The temperatures or humidity readings can also be averaged to create a controlling value for the thermostat.

• 1 on board and one remote temperature sensor*
• 1 remote temperature sensor*
• 2 remote temperature sensors*
* For remote temperature sensors use the Aprilaire Model 8051 Flush Mount Temperature Sensor, Model 8052 Duct/Outdoor
Temperature Sensor, or the Model 8053 Surface Mount Temperature Sensor.

    DIp SWITCH CONFIGURATION TROUblESHOOTING (CONTINUED) SENSOR 2 MODE – DIp SWITCH 4 THE 8800 THERMOSTAT DISplAy IS blANK 8081 • C heck circuit breaker and reset if necessary. • M ake sure power switch at heating & cooling system is on. This dip switch determines if sensor 2, which is the remote sensor on T3&T4, is a controlling (on) or monitoring (off) temperature. • M ake sure furnace door is closed securely. If the switch is set to off, sensor 2 will monitor the temperature. All monitoring values will cycle through the message center on the thermostat. THE 8800 THERMOSTAT DISplAyS A VERy HIGH TEMpERATURE If the switch is set to on, the 8800 thermostat will use sensor 2 as its controlling value which will also be displayed verify the appropriate setting of dip switch 6.
