    Replacing Gateway 400VTX Components Preparing your work space Before performing maintenance on your notebook, make sure that your work space and your notebook are correctly prepared. ■ Wear a grounding (ESD) wrist strap, and use a grounded or dissipative work mat.

This module is keyed so it can only be inserted in one direction. If the module does not fit, make sure that the notch in the module lines up with the tab in the memory slot.

  • Page 19 Replacing Gateway 400VTX Components Remove the wireless Ethernet label from the mini PCI cover. Mini PCI Loosen the captive screw that secures the mini PCI cover. (The screw cannot be removed.) Lift the screw side of the cover upward, then slide the cover out.
