This is the mode for specifying EV (Exposure
compensation), white balance, Flash brightness
adjustment, Aperture-priority and Sharpness
settings.

Use this setting to adjust the amount of light emitted by the flash to suit
the photography conditions or to achieve a desired effect.
Use the AE exposure as a reference value of 0, this function brightens (+)
or darkens (–) the shot.
Use to fix the white balance to suit the photography conditions and
lighting.
This is an automatic mode to set the aperture.
Use this mode for shots that have a background out of focus (large
aperture) or have both near and far objects in focus (small aperture).
Use this setting to soften or emphasize outlines or to adjust the quality of
the image.
