MEMO
[START MENU] screen also appears when the batteries
have been removed and the camera has been left for a
long period. Once the batteries have been installed for 30
minutes or more, the camera settings will be retained for
roughly 2 hours even if a source of power is removed.
Auto power off function
When the Auto power off function is active, if the camera
is left unused for 2 or 5 minutes, this function turns the
camera off (➝p.85). To turn the camera back on, press
ON/OFF. To play back images, hold down w for about
1 second.
