Power On Wizard
When first turning on the power of the printer, the initial settings menu is displayed on the panel. You can
set the following items with the initial settings.
Panel Language: Use the Panel Language menu to set the language displayed on the printer console.
Date
Time
Networks Setting: Set the following items to connect the printer to the network when you select
Panel.
Method of setting IP address
IP address of printer
Network Mask
Gateway Address
Set FAX (Basic)?: Set the following items:
the name of the country where the printer is used
the language to use
Fax number
Set FAX (Advanced)?: Set the following items:
Language
Line Type
Dialing Type
Answer mode
Company Name
Fax Transmit Report
Default Paper Size: Specifies the default paper size.
Menu Configuration
The menus that can be accessed by pressing the System button on the printer console are as follows:
Defaults Settings: Use this Defaults Settings menu to define the default Copy, Fax, and Scan settings.
Tray Settings: Use the Tray Settings menu to define the print media loaded in each tray.
Report/List: Use the Report/List menu to print various types of reports and lists.
Meter Readings: Use this menu to display the printed paper counts on the printer console.
Admin Menu
Phone Book: Use this menu to create/delete address book entries.
Print Language: Use this menu to set the print language to PCL print driver.
Wired Network: Use this menu to configure the network settings for the printer.
Fax Settings: Use this menu to configure default fax settings.
