    If you cannot remove the paper jam by doing the procedures in the manual, do not try to forcibly remove the jam. Doing so may cause injuries. Contact your local Fuji Xerox representative. Never play the CD-ROM supplied with the product on an audio player. Always use a CD-ROM player.

  • Page 37 Hold the edge of the memory module with the labeled side down and the connector toward the control board, and then insert it into the slot. Push the memory module firmly into the slot. NOTE: • Ensure that the memory module is firmly fixed in the slot and does not move easily. Align the guide on the control board cover with the slot around the control board, and slide it towards the front of the printer.

     Installing the Optional 250 Sheet Feeder IMPORTANT: • If you install the optional 250 sheet feeder after setting up the printer, be sure to turn off the printer, unplug the power cord, and disconnect all cables from the rear of the printer before installing the feeder. Turn off the printer.
  • Page 42 Grasp both sides of the bypass tray, and then pull the bypass tray from the printer. Pull the standard 250 sheet tray out of the printer about 200 mm. Hold the standard 250 sheet tray with both hands, and remove it from the printer. Lift the printer and align the five guide pins of the optional 250 sheet feeder with the holes at the bottom of the printer.
  • Page 43 Secure the optional 250 sheet feeder to the printer by tightening the two screws provided with the feeder with a coin or similar object. NOTE: • The screw hole is located in 70 mm recess from the front of the printer. Insert the standard 250 sheet tray into the printer, and push until it stops.
  • Page 44 Confirm Tray 2 (250 Sheet Feeder) is listed under Printer Options in the Printer Settings page. If the feeder is not listed, turn off the printer, unplug the power cord, and re-install the optional 250 sheet feeder.      Installing the Optional Font ROM The Font ROM is supplied with the Font Kit. NOTE: • Your printer supports TC/SC Font Kit, KR Font Kit, or JP Font Kit. Turn off the printer. IMPORTANT: • Note that the data in the memory are cleared when the printer is turned off. Turn the screw on the control board cover counterclockwise.
