When used together with straight-stitch foot # 13
or 53 (with sliding sole), the straight-stitch plate
facilitates perfect straight-stitch formation.
It is also ideally suited for embroidering.
The 5.5mm stitch plate is used for sewing machines
with a max. stitch width of 9mm when working with
thin, soft materials, as its narrower needle opening
prevents the fabric from being driven into the needle
opening. Suitable for all zigzag and decorative
stitches up to a stitch width of 5.5mm.
