Unit Start-Up Procedures
Stopped to Starting:
The stopped to starting diagram shows the timing from a
stopped mode to energizing the compressor. The shortest
allowable time would be under the following conditions:
6. No motor restart inhibit
7. Evaporator Water flowing
8. Power up Start DelayTimer has expired
9. Adjustable Stop to StartTimer has expired
10. Need to cool
The above conditions would allow the compressor to start
in 60 seconds.
Important: If both suction and discharge pressures are
low but sub-cooling is normal, a problem
other than refrigerant shortage exists. Do
not add refrigerant, as this may result in
overcharging the circuit.
