Online Tree Elements

The main elements of the Online Tree are described below:

System

The highest-level element in the Online Tree is the System element. This element indicates the number of devices in the
system, followed by the Master Controller's IP address (FIG. 213).

Master Controller

The elements following the System in the online tree represent the Master Controller (FIG. 214).



These are the specific device components within the Master; each of which requires it's own firmware. For example,
NetLinx Controllers use two firmware files: "Master Firmware" is used by the NI Controller and "Device Firmware" is
used by the Device Controller. Enova DVX All-In-One Presentation Switchers also utilize "Switcher Firmware" for the
A/V Switcher component.

NetLinx masters include an NI Master Controller device (port 0), and a Device Controller device (port 5001).
Enova DVX All-In-One Presentation Switchers contain three devices: the NI Master (port 0), Device
Controller (port 5001) and A/V Switcher/Scaler (port 5002).
Enova DVX or DGX (DVX-2155HD-T shown).
