Rinse aid is necessary to ensure water does not cling and leave marks on crockery during the drying phase. Rinse aid is poured into the storage res- ervoir and the amount set is dispensed automatically. The vario insert is used for washing cups, glasses, plates, bowls and pots. The vario insert fits in the area marked white in the left hand side of the bottom basket. The bottle holder, e.g. for milk and baby bottles, can be fitted in the lower basket in the area marked white in the illustra- tion. -

However, to avoid the risk of in- jury cutlery with sharp points should be placed with the handles up- wards. Place small spoons in the individual slots to either side of the cutlery basket. ^ Unsorted cutlery should be placed in the cutlery basket with the handles facing downwards to ensure optimum spray water access. - Page 30 Use the inserts supplied when washing heavily soiled spoons, e.g. tablespoons and serving spoons.
