Off-Hook Hold Time
This setting is used to switch calls unconditionally to the fax machine at a set
time after the answering machine answers.
For normal operation, we recommend that you do not turn this function on;
however, if you are having trouble receiving faxes in answering machine
mode you can try various time settings to see if it helps. You can select any
time from 1 to 255 seconds. Entering "000" turns the function off.
The factory setting is "000" (off).
Important:
When selecting a time, >You w ill generally ~~antto make it long enough for >Your r ecorded
message to be played andfor callers to leave messages.
If>ou are going topla>'back your messagesfrom a remote location (remote retrie~~al), y ou
WI1ll ~~antto select a time longer than the playback time.
