    There are many different types of vehicle belt systems. Some vehicle belt systems can be used with the booster car seat. For example, a lap only vehicle belt will not restrain your child properly in the booster car seat. The booster car seat requires the use of a vehicle lap and shoulder belt.

    •You do not need to use a locking clip with this booster car seat. A locking clip may be required with other car seats that need to be secured to a vehicle seat using the vehicle’s lap and shoulder belt.
